- 5.25 mm – 5.25 mm across - a substantial gauge, about as thick as 3 pennies stacked (a penny is 1.52 mm).
- 6 mm – 6 mm across - a substantial gauge, about as thick as 4 pennies stacked (a penny is 1.52 mm).
- 6.75 mm – a heavy bracelet at 6.75 mm across - roughly 4 stacked pennies deep, a penny being 1.52 mm.
